How to protect mental health amid layoffs

As we navigate a sensitive state & take a thoughtful approach,

Remember we can take the sting out of our experience when we acknowledge the truth of what we are feeling and going through in a safe and non-judgmental space.

I understand our first conditioned response could be to brave up, gulp, deny, or deviate from these deep emotions, this could be even more damaging to our emotional well-being.

More effective a strategy is to form a more compassionate, gentler outlook to give ourselves space and time to emerge renewed.

I remember a poem I wrote,

Nothing restructures you like chaos & confusion,

Fall in love with these states for their immense contribution to your growth.

– Undervalued States.

The need to the hour is an intervention to help address the inner impact on an individual.

Step 1: Being Truthful.

Listing & acknowledging emotions without shame, and stigma & embracing the opportunity to deal with change than resisting can be a good direction to begin.

Some Emotions & Inner state:

  • Sudden shock, shame, anger, denial.
  • Feelings of loss of trust.
  • Feeling panic, anxiety, confusion & overwhelm.
  • Self-formed judgments & limiting beliefs because of unfortunate events.
  • Fear of uncertainty about future vision & lack of clarity.
  • Grief about the loss of a loved one in the pandemic.
  • Resistance & lack of safety.
  • Fear of abandonment can trigger unhealed childhood adverse experiences or trauma in some cases.

Inner work, scientific self-help & clinical tools mentioned at the end can help address this range of overwhelming feelings, thought & emotions.

Also, take help & share with confidantes, and loved ones, remember there is no shame in seeking support.

Step 2: Embrace our vulnerability

  • This is your much-awaited opportunity to slow down, address burnout and tune to yourself, discover yourself outside of work & routine of a fast-paced life.
  • Processing your emotions can unlock the messages and wisdom within them,

This will naturally lead to an empowered state, direction & new outlook toward life and the unknown.

  • This shift in perception about your situation can help you in forming goals more in tune with who you are and doing what you are passionate about to feel more alive & purposeful.

Step 3: Reshaping beliefs, perceptions & future outlook

  • Using the tools to shift perceptions & resistance around your change and anxiety about what the future hold.
  • Exploring beliefs around money, and shifting from scarcity, and fear to an abundance mindset can also help a lot.

I have personally seen lots of opportunities open up as we work on our self-image & relationship with money and wealth.

  • This can also help tune down the noise from media and negativity into possibility & hope.

Step 4: How to use scientific, safe tools for Inner work, Self Care & Growth
(Like EFT, Emo Trance, and TAT.)

These powerful inner work tools help process emotions, and conditioning & help access inner wisdom to help access the situation with objectivity, clarity, purpose, renewed vigour, inner strength, resourcefulness & optimism about the future.

I have recorded some free videos on the processes that can help an individual learn the art of transforming emotions.

Sharing the science which transformed every aspect of my life 10 years ago, if this can reach someone in dire need of transformation:

In Hindi: https://youtu.be/BT8mzH2rpjQ

Feeling grateful to share how inner work can be done to facilitate a gentle, sensitive and empowering shift.

Just remember,
It’s only human to break to bounce back with more resilience & character.
It’s your time to shift & shine.
